Made in the USA means a lot! It sharpens quickly, whether you need to remove a lot or just a "tune up" on the blade edges. Because it's manufactured flat, it is excellent for planer blades and chisels. The ability to sharpen dry or with only water creates less of a mess than other types of sharpening stones. The no-hassle guarantee is a definite plus, though I would be surprised if you ever needed it.

The Diamond Sharpening System performed very well. I sharpened my hunting knives in less time with it than I did with my oil stones that I have.I also have an electric knife sharpener and the Diamond stone out performed it. I sharpened my wifes kitchen knives and my Mother-in -laws knives, they were very pleased with the results.Very easy cleanup of the stone when done. ease of use, great edge, simple instructions

I am a professional sharpener. This did an excellent job in sharpening some chisels. I would also use it on knives and axes.

I had several tools that needed sharpening and was able to quickly sharpen the tools to like new condition. This is an essential tool, for my toolbox. I wish I had purchased one years ago as I have been able to restore a lot of tools to new condition.

Upon receiving your product I immediately went to my knife drawer and proceeded to put a very fine edge on my knives. Not having to get out my oil stones and the mess involved with that was a HUGE benefit!

I received this during ice fishing season and used it exclusively to sharpen my fillet knife while cleaning fish. It put an excellent edge on the knife with just a couple of strokes. It has lived in the kitchen ever since and I will probably have to steal it once hunting season starts!

The sharpener is extremely easy to use, and works quite well. I used to have a professional hone my blades, but now I can do just as good a job.

I was used to using ceramic and steel sharpening kits. I'm impressed with the ease of use with the diamond sharpening system. I used it both wet and dry and it performed great both ways. With just about a dozen strokes I was able to sharpen knives that normally take 5 to 10 minutes apiece. It's also so easy to clean after use. Just rinse it under running water and wipe dry. Great Job!

Over the course of many years I have obtained and used a variety of knife sharpeners. The DMT 6" diamond whetstone sharpener is far superior to any other I have used. There is no substitute for sharp knives and there is no substitute for a great sharpener. Just a few quick strokes maintains a great edge. What more can you ask?

When I first received it I got out my pocket knife to sharpen, only a few swipes and it was back to its original sharpness. I also sharpened every knife in the house, and my wife couldn't believe it, and my chisels never been sharper.

It is very simple to use and does a great job of sharpening knives and chisels. I used it on Lathe turning skew and it was easy to do that and it produced a very sharp edge.
