The Diamond Sharpening System performed very well. I sharpened my hunting knives in less time with it than I did with my oil stones that I have.I also have an electric knife sharpener and the Diamond stone out performed it. I sharpened my wifes kitchen knives and my Mother-in -laws knives, they were very pleased with the results.Very easy cleanup of the stone when done. I was used to using ceramic and steel sharpening kits. I'm impressed with the ease of use with the diamond sharpening system. I used it both wet and dry and it performed great both ways. With just about a dozen strokes I was able to sharpen knives that normally take 5 to 10 minutes apiece. It's also so easy to clean after use. Just rinse it under running water and wipe dry. Just a few light strokes across the sharpener and I restored several knives that I thought would not hold a edge any longer. Well worth the price. This sharpener pays for itself.

Made in the USA means a lot! It sharpens quickly, whether you need to remove a lot or just a "tune up" on the blade edges. Because it's manufactured flat, it is excellent for planer blades and chisels. The ability to sharpen dry or with only water creates less of a mess than other types of sharpening stones. I had several tools that needed sharpening and was able to quickly sharpen the tools to like new condition. This is an essential tool, for my toolbox. I wish I had purchased one years ago as I have been able to restore a lot of tools to new condition.

I would recommend this to anyone who use knifes on a regular basis. I do a lot of hunting and having a sharp knife is key. I like that the sharpening stone only uses water to lubricate it. The instruction were very simple and to the point. It took me seconds compared to other sharpeners I have.

This diamond wetstone is very handy for quick touch-ups to keep your tools sharp,including carbide tools.It also will put a new profile on tools with a litle time and very little effort.

Upon receiving your product I immediately went to my knife drawer and proceeded to put a very fine edge on my knives. Not having to get out my oil stones and the mess involved with that was a HUGE benefit!
