Ability to use without oil was great. Clean up is easy and fast. Puts a good edge on knives, even for a novice sharpener.

I was used to using ceramic and steel sharpening kits. I'm impressed with the ease of use with the diamond sharpening system. I used it both wet and dry and it performed great both ways. With just about a dozen strokes I was able to sharpen knives that normally take 5 to 10 minutes apiece. It's also so easy to clean after use. Just rinse it under running water and wipe dry. I would recommend this to anyone who use knifes on a regular basis. I do a lot of hunting and having a sharp knife is key. I like that the sharpening stone only uses water to lubricate it. The instruction were very simple and to the point. It took me seconds compared to other sharpeners I have.

The Diamond Sharpening System performed very well. I sharpened my hunting knives in less time with it than I did with my oil stones that I have.I also have an electric knife sharpener and the Diamond stone out performed it. I found this product to do exactly what was advertised. The convienence of the wood box casing was an added attraction to this product. The sharpening ability was second to none. Best I've ever used!

It is very simple to use and does a great job of sharpening knives and chisels. I used it on Lathe turning skew and it was easy to do that and it produced a very sharp edge.
