Diamond Machine Technology, Inc., offers a high performance pocket diamond sharpening stone, the Diamond Mini-Sharp^®, which can be used to sharpen a broad variety of knives and tools, including those manufactured with tough stainless steel, high speed steel and even tungsten carbide!

This unique Diamond Mini-Sharp^® sharpener uses real diamond abrasive and has many advantages over the older conventional oilstones, (e.g. silicon, carbide and aluminum oxide):

• Diamond Mini-Sharp^® Sharpener: is fast due to the diamond abrasive, the hardest known substance to man, and to the unique polka dot interrupted surface of the stone. The polka dots are slightly recessed and serve to collect the metal that comes off the tool during sharpening, thus keeping the higher diamond abrasive clear in order to do its abrasive work more efficiently.

• The sharpening stones: are manufactured from steel and polycarbonate plastic. Unlike the older style conventional stones, they will not break, chip or crack.

• The diamond stone will always remain flat: to always produce a straight cutting edge on the tool. This is particularly important with woodworking tools.

• Use dry or with a few drops of water: No messy honing oil is needed.
• Each grit is color-coded for quick recognition: The fine stone is RED and ideal for maintaining a razor edge on quality knives and tools. The coarse stone is BLUE and is perfect for general sharpening or quickly restores a dull or neglected edge.

• Convenient and portable: The lid flips open to serve as a handle and folds closed for protected storage. The swivel ring attaches to key-chains or zippers.
