Diamond Machining Technology, Inc. introduces a new and innovative product, the new DuoSharp^™, a double-sided bench model. The new model comes in two lengths, 8" and 250mm to provide you with the ultimate in sharpening versatility. The DuoSharp^™ offers two grits for convenience and a value price. Just turn the DuoSharp^™ over for a different grit. The DuoSharp^™ will stay flat so you will not have hollow or groove problems. Available in Extra-Fine/Fine, Fine/Coarse Extra-Fine/Coarse and Coarse/Extra-Coarse models, the DuoSharp^™ offers the benefits of a multi-grit whetstone. By using a coarser whetstone first, and then moving to a finer grit, a razor sharp edge can be easily achieved on a previously worn blade.

The two different monocrystalline diamond surfaces are ultrasonically welded together to ensure continued flatness for optimal precision sharpening. The new yellow DuoSharp^™ features the familiar DMT^® monocrystalline diamond abrasive, quick cutting interrupted surface, color-coding for grit identification, but adds:

• The versatility of two large diamond stones at an excellent value price.

• Improved precision flatness - critical to the woodworker.

• A choice of four grit combination models to cover applications from near polish to rough stock removal on the hardest edge materials, from tool steel to carbide to ceramic and any super-hard material that needs sharpening, lapping or filing. (Grit sizes are 1200 mesh/9 micron, 600 mesh/25 micron, 325 mesh/45 micron, and 220 mesh/60micron.)

• A unique optional base for use on a bench gives good knuckle clearance. The black plastic base has a handle on its back, which may be used for honing large stationary surfaces.
