DMT^® Diafold^® Diamond Whetstones^™ easily sharp, hone, and abrade any hard material including tungsten carbide. They feature perforated steel molded onto a plastic base that is lapped and coated with precision-sized monocrystalline diamonds. The plastic base shows through the perforations in a polka dot pattern. These circular plastic islands collect the fines, the tiny metal particles removed in sharpening. This interrupted cutting pattern accelerates the cutting action of the diamond.

The regular Diafold^® Diamond Whetstone^™ is efficient for all sharpening tasks from garden secaturs to carbide saw blades. The Diafold^® Machinist Whetstone^™ offers a one-inch area of continuous diamond to meet the needs of professionals who must hone very fine points.
