Regardless of a knife or tool’s function and size, Diamond Machining Technology’s (DMT®) new Dia-Sharp
Five Carat Diamond Whetstone provides the largest continuous diamond surface available from DMT which assures consistent,
even sharpening every time. Ideal for long and short knives and almost every landscaping, woodworking and outdoor tool imaginable,
the Five Carat Diamond Whetstone provides a 4” wide, 10” long diamond sharpening surface that delivers cutting-edge performance for
a quick, keen edge even on small contact areas or pointed tool edges. Designed to take the mystery out of properly sharpening any
knife or tool, the Five Carat Diamond Whetstone enables the user to have complete confidence regardless of the edges function.
DMT has the broadest line of diamond sharpening products in the industry.
“The Five Carat is the ideal sharpening solution for woodworkers, gardeners, landscapers,
and chefs,” said Mark Brandon, President of Diamond Machining Technology. “Utilizing sharp edges is incredibly
important, and the Five Carat’s added length and stability enable it to be used in the kitchen, garage, or on the
workbench. For proper tool and knife maintenance, users can rely on the durability and consistency of this diamond whetstone.”
Guaranteed not to hollow or groove, the Five Carat Diamond Whetstone is available in two grits
– Extra-fine and Fine. The sharpener includes non-skid rubber feet to ensure stability for the user during the
sharpening process regardless of the edge. With the diamond grade clearly marked on the side of the stone,
the Five Carat requires no messy oils and can sharpen dry or with water. The Extra-fine Diamond surface
(9 micron / 1200 mesh) can polish and refine any sharp edge while the Fine Diamond surface (25 micron / 600 mesh)
can deliver a razor sharp cutting surface. The Five Carat has been designed to be extremely durable and will
provide years of consistent and reliable performance.
The 5 Carat is available at woodworking retailers, hardware stores and
www.dmtsharp.com for a suggested retail price of $113.54.
