DMT hosts Legislative delegation

Sen. James Eldridge and Rep. Steven Levy will tour Marlborough plant

Massachusetts Senator James B. Eldridge (D-Acton) and Representative Steven L. Levy (R-Marlborough) will tour Diamond Machining Technology (DMT) in Marlborough on Monday April 11, 2011 at 11:30am. DMT President Mark Brandon will lead the lawmakers through the company’s manufacturing and sales divisions and discuss how state legislation and policies affect growth and jobs. Photos of the event will be available later Monday afternoon.

DMT designs and manufactures a full line of diamond coated sharpeners that produce superior edges on all kinds of tools and knives. Professionals and amateurs in woodworking, outdoor sports, culinary arts, gardening and more rely on DMT. The company holds 11 patents and is recognized as an innovator and global leader in its field.

Sen. Eldridge has served as Senator for the Middlesex and Worcester district since January 2009. Previously, he served as State Representative for the 37th Middlesex district. Sen. Eldridge is Chairman of the Chair, Joint Committee on Housing; Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture and Senate Committee on Global Warming and Climate Change. He is also a member of the Senate Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures and State Assets

Rep. Levy is a first term State Representative for the 4th Middlesex district since. He serves on the House Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures and State Assets; Joint Committee on Revenue, and
Joint Committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight.
